Sindhu was a film actress who appeared in South Indian films.[4]
She is the daughter of actress Manjula's sister Shyamala.[4]

Personal life[edit]
She married Shrungara Kaavya film co-actor Raghuveer.
Later the couples got divorced.[4]
Then she was married to a TV actor Rishi on 2003 and lived in Nungambakkam with him.
Film career[edit]
She acted opposite Arun Pandiyan and Prabhu in a few Tamil films.
She acted was in the famous Tamil drama Metti Oli which was broadcast in Sun TV from 2002 to 2005.
She acted in other TV serials too like Gokulam Veedu, Enga Kudumbam, Thozhigal, Anandham, etc.

She went out on a door-to-door campaign for funds, during the rounds, she seems to have picked up a lung infection and swooned.
Due to the infection she died three days later.[1]

Actress of Kannada films like ‘Shrungara Kaavya’ ‘Naviloora Naidhile’, ‘Thungabhadra’ and a few others Sindhu died in Chennai on Friday. She got swooned while she was on her way to collect aid for the coastal tide victims. She was admitted to hospital few days ago. Aged 32 Sindhu shot in to fame in Kannada films and then left her husband Raghuveer of ‘Chitradha Premanjali’ fame to carve a niche in Tamil films and Television. She acted opposite Arun Pandyan and Prabhu in a few Tamil films. The recent hit television serial in which Sindhu she acted was ‘Mettuvali’ in Sun TV.

It is a double tragedy of sorts.
Actress Sindhu, who was seen in films like Inaindha Kaigal and Paramabarai but who made it big in television, had been collecting funds for the tsunami-affected.
She went out on a door-to-door campaign for funds. But during the rounds, she seems to have picked up a lung infection and swooned.
The infection it seems was very bad, as she died three days later.

Bengaluru: Actor-director Raghuveer who was admitted to a hospital in B T M Layout has expired on Thursday night due to heart attack. He is survived by wife and a daughter.
Raghuveer came to the Kannada film industry as a hero through 'Ajay Vijay' way back in 1990. Though Raghuveer made his debut as a hero along side Murali in 'Ajay Vijay', it was S Narayan's 'Chaitrada Premanjali' which catapulated Raghuveer to success. The film was a musical hit and Raghuveer went on to act in films like 'Shrungara Kavya', 'Mouna Horata', 'Thungabhadra', 'Kaveri Theeradalli' and others. Apart from 'Chaitrada Premanjali' none of Raghuveer's films were hits.
Raghuveer married his co-star Sindhu of 'Shrungara Kavya' after the film. The duo were in love for some time and got married against the wishes of Raghuveer's family. However, the marriage could not last for long as Sindhu died while she was on her way to collect aid for the coastal tide victims. After that Raghuveer married his relative and had a daughter from her.
Raghuveer was almost away from the film industry for the last one decade. His old film 'Mugila Chumbana' got released last year. However, the film did not do well at the box-office.
