Rajeshwari Sachdev is a known Hindi film actress who had also won the prestigious National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1997 for her film Sardari Begum (1996), which was directed by renowned filmmaker Shyam Benegal. 

In the early 2000, she featured in one of the most controversial film of her career, titled as 'Tales of The Kama Sutra: 
The Perfumed Garden'. Directed by Jag Mundhra, it's an America drama film based on the ancient Indian sex-guide Kamasutra. 
The film is touted as a prequel to Mira Nair's 'Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love', and the actress Rajeshwari gave several bold performances in the film.
So these were the three hottest Bollywood actresses, who have performed from nude scenes to the erotic sexual-intercourse scenes in their respective Kamasutra movies. 
They have become an inspiration to our many Indian actresses, who have earlier and are also now willing to perform in the new tale of Kamasutra movies.
Rajeshwari Sachdev is a Hindi film actress, who is most known for her role in Shyam Benegal's film Sardari Begum (1996), for which she won the 1997 National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress. She co-hosted the Zee TV musical show, Titan Antakshari from 1994 to 2001. 
In 2005, she along with her husband Varun Badola, took part a reality TV, Dance competition show, Nach Baliye.


Rajeshwari was born 14 April 1975 in Mumbai to a Punjabi father and mother from Southern India. 
After completing her graduation from Guru Nanak Khalsa College (King's Circle) in Mumbai, she started her career on stage doing plays with Indian People's Theatre Association (IPTA). She made her film debut with Marathi film, 'Aaytya Gharat Gharoba' (1991) directed by Sachin. 
Her second film was Shyam Benegal's Suraj Ka Satvan Ghoda (1992), thereafter she became a regular in his films, and was cast in, Mammo (1994), Sardari Begum (1996), Samar (1999), Hari-Bhari (2000), Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose: 
The Forgotten Hero (2005), and lately, Welcome to Sajjanpur (2008). 
She also worked for Hollywood film Little Buddha (1993) and later in Tales of Kamasutra: 
The Perfumed Garden (1998).

Meera, a young media professional, finds herself cornered every step of the way, as she tries to live a normal life. She feels ignored by her father, betrayed by her fiancé, faces trouble at work. The only escape route she can think of, is taking her own life with a massive dose of sleeping pills.

Enters Anand Prabhu, who stops her at a crucial moment, although he has no plans of making her change her mind. His advice instead, is to go about it systematically. Anand is the founder of ‘Happy Ending Society’, an organization that believes that every person has a right to decide his , or her own fate. Anand gladly offers to make Meera an expert in various ways of ending her life by enrolling her in a 3-day suicide camp, organized by Happy Ending.

While Meera is busy making a choice between life and death surrounded by the like-minded students and over enthusiastic staff, Meera’s father Dr Rajwade leaves no stone unturned to find his estranged daughter.

What happens next? Will Meera finally succeed in carrying out her wish? Does Anand have an ulterior motive in keeping Meera at the Suicide camp? Will Meera reunite with her father? And what is the truth behind ‘Happy Ending Society’?

Walking a thin line between comedy and drama, Welcome Zindagi delivers a poignant message in the garb of entertainment.
